I enjoy shooting portraits of people as eyes are the pathway to the soul.  While some of my portraits are taken in the studio, I also capture similar images using a "street photography" approach.

These fiberglass giants can be found lurking in just about every state. Originally made to advertise a muffler shop in California, they have become an icon for advertising varied businesses.

Since its inception in 1926, Route 66 has become famous for the millions of people who have traversed this road from Chicago to Santa Monica, California

I have always been driven to visit and photograph old buildings wondering when it was built and who occupied the structure.

I have been a photographer longer than I wish to acknowledge having received a Kodak Brownie camera from my Grandmother at the age of 9.  The advent of digital imaging has opened up a new world for me, allowing me to find Americana all over this wonderful Country and presenting it in creative images.

While I have several subjects that I favor, I'll take images of anything that I believe that will fit into the fine art or weird/strange categories.

You will see many photos from the road as my wife, Carmen, and I love to explore this country via two lane highways.  We see things that are invisible from the interstates and meet people whose definition of life is in the slower lane.  We love to stop and see the wonderful things the people of this country have to offer.
